SALES ASSISTANT
Location: ABS Offroad Limited, Penal
Are you looking for a dynamic and exciting career in the offroad industry? ABS Offroad Limited is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Offroad Sales Assistant to join our team.
JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for assisting customers with their purchases and providing expert knowledge on our wide range of offroad parts and accessories. To be successful in this role, you should have a passion for offroad vehicles and a strong understanding of the industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greets and interacts with customers
- Consults with walk-in customers and telephone call-in to understand needs and preferences and makes recommendations
- Demonstrates and explains goods being sold, selecting, and suggesting options suitable for the customers’ needs
- Answers customers questions and inquiries
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of offroad parts and accessories inventory
- Assists with the organization and upkeep of the parts department
- Restocks shelves and upkeep a properly maintained display
- Processes transactions inclusive of payments from customers, returns and exchanges
- Balances accounts at the end of each working day
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Liaise with installer to schedule appointments
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Five (5) C.X.C passes (inclusive of Mathematics and English)
- Experience in a similar position
- Must be Computer literate
- Excellent Customer service skills, including problem solving and handling customer complaints
- Good written and verbal communications.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- A police certificate of character
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Excellent sales and customer service skills.
- Extensive knowledge of the goods/services sold and the industry.
- Ability to recommend goods/services to the Customers
- Ability to multitask and function in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to retrieve goods from shelves and lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Good time management skills
- Team Player
- A strong interest in the offroad industry and outdoor adventure
